Anthony Joshua could retire if Oleksandr Usyk loses again to him - but Brit is still able to win with the right plan, predicts David Haye

DAVID Haye believes Anthony Joshua could be forced to retire if he can't wrestle Oleksandr Usyk back to his heavyweight titles.

Hayemaker, 41, watched with horror as AJ used a terrible strategy against Tottenham's southpaw genius last September. He surrendered his WBA, IBF, and WBO belts in a unanimous decision.

David Haye thinks AJ could be forced to retire if he loses his rematch. However, he insists that he can beat the unbeaten Ukrainian.

Former cruiser and heavyweight king, the former cruiser believes that the 6ft 6in 32 year-old powerhouse still has all physical attributes to take revenge in August 20th in Saudi Arabia.

He is concerned that a second consecutive loss could be the end of the London 2012 legend, despite signing a new long-term contract with DAZN sports streaming service.

Haye stated that if he does not win, he will not want to be in a sport that he knows is not the best.

"He was out-hustled by a person he knows he could beat, and if he does everything right, Usyk still defeats him. I don't know what else he could do in the sport.

"He is so a winner, that I don’t know what he will do next, if it loses again.

"He believes that he has the physical ability to defeat Usyk. So do I. With the right plan, he can win the victory."

Rob McCracken, Team GB mentor seems to have accepted the loss of comprehensive points, despite AJ admitting that it was his plan to outbox the master technician.

Robert Garcia, a Mexican-American fighter who is well-known for his high-pressure fighting style, has been brought in by the Ukrainian icon of 35 years old. Despite his successes at weights nearly half that of AJ's, he was able to take on the fight.

Haye is hopeful that the dramatic change in Joshua's team over the past decade will help them reverse the North London nightmare.

Two-weight legend: "I think his performance here this time around cannot be worse than in the first fight."

"In terms strategy and gameplan, that was the worst. Robert Garcia will not do that again.

"Change is good. Different methods face and speak.

"In the first fight whoever was saying which and whoever devised the plan were irrelevant. He just needs to win this fight in order to get back on top."
