Anthony Joshua urges Jarrell Miller to be a drug cheat in the next three years, after his fight with Anthony was cancelled

Three years after their fight was cancelled, Anthony Joshua has been urged by Jarrell Miller to fight his old rival and drug cheat Jarrell.

Joshua, 32, was to take on Jarrell Miller (34), an unbeaten heavyweight at Madison Square Garden, June 1, 2019.

Joshua was scheduled to face Miller in 2019, but Miller was denied a license by New York State's Athletic Commission because of a failed drug test

The fight was called off after Miller failed a drug test and was denied a license from the New York State Athletic Commission.

According to the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency, there were some irregularities during the test.

Miller protested his innocence - but saw a later fight against Jerry Forrest fall through after testing positive once again for a performance-enhancing substance.

Matchroom was left searching desperately for an opponent to replace Miller. They finally settled on Andy Ruiz Jr., who then went on to shock the entire world.

Mexican Ruiz Jr defeated Joshua in the seventh round, becoming the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champions.

Dmitriy Salaita, Miller's promoter, says that the American will travel to England to face Joshua after the Brit's split decision loss to Oleksandr Uzyk earlier in the month. The pair have some "unfinished business"

Salita said to i that Anthony Joshua would lose, but he still wants to fight in December regardless of what happens.

"If he wins, he's going fight Tyson Fury. That's a big fight for boxing fans that must happen.

"But even if he loses, he still has some business with Jarrell Miller."

Joshua's boxing career remains in doubt following the loss. However, he has potential fights that could help him get back into title contention.

Mentioned are names like Deontay Wilder or a rematch against childhood rival Dillian Whyte.

Salita however insists that Miller should be in contention for Joshua.

Salita said, "Jarrell has had two wins. He's going back to fight again."

"That's a fight that I would love to see happen. I know Eddie [Hearn], Joshua's promoter] said he doesn’t want it to happen, but I believe it makes a lot more sense.

"It would attract a lot of interest certain and Jarrell will travel to the UK to avenge the mishap that occurred in June 2019."
