Bob Arum, promoter of PS500m Tyson Fury V Olesksandr Uzyk fight, revealed four possible locations as hotly discussed

Bob Arum, a promoter of BOXING, has identified four possible locations for Tyson Fury's and Oleksandr Usyk’s highly anticipated heavyweight bout. It is scheduled to take place in the early 2023.

Arum, 90 years old, has been trying to secure the fight ever since Fury promised to come out of retirement to face Usyk following the defeat of Anthony Joshua the second time.

Fury needs PS500m to be back in the ring

He believes that a deal can be reached soon and has identified Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE as possible locations.

Arum told BoxingScene.com that confirming a location is his top priority right now.

He stated that he believed that Saudi Arabia had a positive experience with the fight (Usyk against Joshua).

"And Qatar hosts this huge World Cup event, so they may be interested.

"And then, I am sure Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates will be interested. We'll consider all that.

"And there's a lot of interest in the United States. There are a few casinos in Las Vegas who want to bring the event to Allegiant Stadium.

"So, it's all up in air. We will all agree on the best deal. It will be done in consultation with Queensberry and Frank Warren, as well as George and the fighters. We're in a great place."

Fury demands that only a few prominent locations host the bout.

After defeating Joshua, Usyk called Fury

The Gypsy King has given a September 1 deadline to complete the deal.

He has threatened to retire if terms are not agreed upon before that date.

TalkSPORT spoke to him earlier this week: "Everyone keeps asking me about this fight against this Ukrainian guy. Is it possible that you will return? Is this what you are going to do? Is that what you are going to do?

It's not Anthony Joshua, which I would have done for free in England.

"It's a foreigner that nobody really cares about. To give this unknown quantity a chance of legendary status and fight him. They must pay.

They have one week. It's August 24. They have one week to submit their proposals. It must be in writing and supported by proof of funds.

This was just days after Joshua defeated Usyk in a thriller by split decision.

The fight ended when Fury called Fury out and challenged him for a undisputed heavyweight title bout.

He stated that he was certain Tyson Fury wasn't yet retired. He wants to fight me, that's what I'm certain of.

"I want him to fight me and if Tyson Fury is not fighting me, then I'm not fighting at any."
