John refused to apologize for a series of alleged "graphic message" Paul sent to Tommy about Molly-Mae Hague, his girlfriend.

After John had told Paul that Tommy would bend over and treat his girlfriend like a dog, BT Sport quickly issued an apology.

John, however, is refusing to do the same. He insists that his vulgar rant was in response "graphic messages" Paul sent Tommy about Molly-Mae Hague.

DAZN was told by him: "I believe a lot of that stemmed from what'd he been messaging Tommy.

He was sending him explicit information about his girlfriend. He started swearing at me the moment I saw him. I don't swear but I did say what I said.

"It's very disturbing to hear Jake Paul's graphic comments about Tommy's girlfriend. It's not nice. The girl was upset and my emotions took over.

These things happen in life. But do I regret saying them? "No, I don’t."

Tommy and Paul were to settle their differences at Madison Square Garden next month, but Tommy was stopped from boarding a plane to the United States by Homeland Security.

Dotting dad John seemed to be throwing his youngest son under a bus by claiming that he wasn’t training fully for the fight.

He stated that Tommie wasn't in training. He had only 10 days to rest because he was on vacation, which was quite surprising for him.

"It was hard to see it in person because I was so busy with other things.

"The whole thing was wrong when I paid attention to it."

"But I said, 'Okay. It is what it was. If you want to go over there, box him. It's a 50-50 proposition. You are already experienced.

"I know that you could be more fit, and you are overweight, but it is up to you because I am busy and can't do it.

Tommy Fury denies his father's claim that he was practicing for his grudge match against Jake Paul

"So, he said, "Okay, then, I'll do mine own thing and go fight him anyway, because I can beat him."

Tommy however quickly dismissed his older man's claim and stated: "Recently, on social media I've seen greater s*** on my than ever before.

"I just want to clarify one thing: the reason this fight did not take place was because I couldn’t get into the country.

"Not because I was not training or wasn’t fit. I was prepared and ready to go. I arrived at the airport Monday morning with my entire team ready to fly out to get the show on the road.

"I could. I couldn't get into the country, and that's the reason the fight didn't take place, so all the bulls*** about me being unprepared and not training, forget it.

"If it hasn't come from me, don’t believe it. It's not truth."
