Tyson Fury lashed out at Anthony Joshua over the missed PS66m superfight opportunity following Dillian Whyte's delayed purse bid

TYSON FURY accused Anthony Joshua of wasting a PS66million superfight opportunity.

The WBC had agreed to postpone the purse bids of Fury vs mandatory challenger Dillian Youte for a fourth time. This was a disappointing decision. Tonight, the Gypsy King attacked AJ via social media.

Tonight, the Gypsy King launched a furious tirade against AJ

The 32-year old Team GB legend has been offered a stepaside agreement in the region PS15m to cancel his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, WBA, IBF, and WBO world champs. Fury, 33 will meet him to determine an undisputed champion.

Part of the plan would include AJ getting the first crack at all four belts - after the possible Saudi Arabia clash – but Whyte, the WBC's long-waiting mandatory competitor, would not take that lightly.

Fury's digging suggests that Joshua rejected the offer of a fee and a guarantee shot at the winner in order to fulfill the instant rematch clause, which he activated after losing with Usyk in September.

Fury shouted in his best American accent: "I had no choice but to make this video. Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua must be the worst businessmen ever." They lost 90 million dollars today, good god sons of b ******."

AJ is believed to be a good boxing pundit by almost every respected one, particularly since he has yet to confirm a new head coach after his split with mentor Rob McCracken.

However, such a business move could damage his brand and reputation as a throwback fighter.

Hearn also confirmed that Fury and Usyk will decide who becomes the first heavyweight four-belt king in history.

He stated that there had been an offer and that there have been many discussions with him. It's not my job to rule it out. AJ is the boss - he will either rule it out or not.

He's extremely smart about the plan. He won't do it. Sometimes, you need to think with your head. Anthony isn't about the money, but there is a clever play.

"If the plan is logical from a development perspective - maybe working with a new coach, having a fight first or going into a bigger fight - yes, I can see it making sense.

"But Anthony, it's never been about, 'Here is some money, do you want it?'" He's not about that. He's a throwback fighter and he cares about his legacy.

"All he thinks about right now is beating Oleksandr Uzyk."

WBC stated that it had received requests from Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury to extend the free negotiation period.

"The WBC has granted the final extension. If there is not an agreement, a purse auction will be held Friday, January 28."
