The UFC's poster child is currently recuperating from the terrible broken leg he sustained in his fight with Dustin Pourier last July.
McGregor, 33 years old, originally planned to return in summer but UFC president Dana White expects him to be back in action by the fall.
White recently stated to SunSport that "early fall is in our sights, if all goes well."

Doctors must give him the okay to return to full mixed martial arts training in autumn.
White said: "If his leg heals well and he is given the clearance to start training, then he may be able to train in the early fall."
