McGregor is getting ready for his fight next year.

McGregor posted pictures to Instagram of young members of the club watching as McGregor prepares to spar.

The caption reads: "Boxing for kids" by the 34-year old. It was accompanied with more action shots from his sparring sessions.

The two-weight champion is now out of action following his agonizing leg injury last summer.

McGregor has been pushing for a UFC return after many setbacks. However, it is not clear who his opponent will end up being. Potential foes include Charles Oliviera or Michael Chandler.

A trilogy fight with Nate Diaz, an old rival, is one fight that has been closer.

With a win over Tony Ferguson in the main event, the American ended a long and successful run in UFC.

After his victory over El Cucuy, Diaz pledged to broaden his horizons.

He made a dig at Conor McGregor, his former opponent, and he also tried to make fun of Floyd Mayeather, a boxer who had been a fighter in MMA.

Diaz stated, "I want out of the UFC" and that he wanted to show UFC fighters how to assume control and take over another sport.

"Cause Conor McGregor did not know how to do this." None of these fighters knows how to do it.

McGregor didn't miss a beat when he responded to his former rival by tweeting that Diaz would not be 'nothing' without him.

There has been speculation for many years about a third round, but nothing has ever happened.

While Nate Diaz may be closing the book on his UFC career, he didn't do the same when asked about a scrap with McGregor.

Diaz stated to Inside Fighting that "the timing is not right now."

"We'll think about that later. It will happen eventually. Yeah, at some point.
