CONOR McGREGOR could be back at middleweight, but will skip 'warm up fights' during his comeback.
As he recovers from the horrific leg injury he suffered in July, the Irishman has been lifting weights.
Conor McGregor is so "jacked" he could make a comeback at middleweight
McGregor is just starting to hit the pads again since his surgery, and instead he has been focusing on strength training.
He is so large that John Kavanagh, his head trainer, joked that he could fight at middleweight. The pair will soon reunite.
Submission Radio's Kavanagh said that Kavanagh would be back in the gym in the next few weeks.
"He is doing a lot strength training right now. He's a jacked guy. He's probably coming back as a midweight (laughs).
"But he will be back on the mats soon with me and we'll begin with combat sports training again."
McGregor, 33, was first back in January. He was defeated by Dustin Porier 32 in a rematch.

He was eventually unable to speak due to doctor's stoppage. He would later undergo surgery in Los Angeles and then return home to Ireland.
McGregor already hinted at a fourth fight against Poirier. Poirier will challenge for the lightweight title against 32-year-old champion Charles Oliveira on December 11.
McGregor beat McGregor in 2013 at two-weight.
Next year's opponent will be someone who sparks intense interest. Money is no longer the primary motivator.
Kavanagh stated: He's not so much concerned with warm-up fights.
"He seems very warm to me, as it is. What will happen, will happen. It would seem that he has a hundred rivals.
"But let's just go back to training. Let's test the leg, everything, and when it comes, I'm sure that he won't lack of options.
"He'll be motivated no matter what he faces. Conor is a well-rounded individual with a few quid and a few dollars.
"So, this is not what motivates him at this stage. His motivating factor is competition, to improve himself, and to test himself against anyone else."
