Eddie Hall's Missed Opportunity
Former world's strongest man Eddie Hall shared that he missed out on a significant amount of money when his MMA debut was canceled, leaving him and fellow strongman Brian Shaw disappointed.
Unexpected Turn of Events
Hall was set to participate in a four-man cage tournament in Qatar, where he was scheduled to face off against Mitchell Hooper or Brian Shaw. However, negotiations fell through, leaving Hall without the anticipated fight and financial gain.
New MMA Fight on the Horizon
Despite the setback, Hall is not giving up on his MMA aspirations. He is currently in discussions for a new fight and has called out strongmen Mitchell Hooper and Brian Shaw, along with actor Martyn Ford, for potential matchups.
Return to Training
After his venture into boxing in 2022, which resulted in a loss to Hafthor Bjornsson, Hall shifted his focus back to MMA training. He worked with UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall to prepare for his MMA debut, shedding weight and getting down to 25 stone.
Stay tuned for updates as Eddie Hall continues his journey in combat sports.
