JORGE MASVIDAL has intensified his verbal war with Colby Covington in preparation for their grudge match, releasing a video "exposing" his lies.
They will finally end their feud next month at UFC 272 in Las Vegas.
After Masvidal accused Covington, the welterweight rivals, of not paying one his coaches to train him for his interim title fight against Rafael dos Anjos in 2018, they have been at each other's throats ever since.
Gamebred has escalated their fight with a compilation video that shows Covington's trash talk over the years and fighters' criticisms.
The video begins with a drawing and modified excerpt from The Gospel Matthew.
"And they set aside 30 for him, 30 pieces of sterling."
The clip quickly changed to Covington calling Masvidal, his former roommate, his 'best buddy' in the sport.
He said, "Jorge's my best friend." He is the exception.
"I don't have any friends." Jorge is like my only friend, man. You wouldn't believe what we've gone through.
It cuts to another interview seconds later in which he stated: "Jorge Masvidal. I want to end this dude."
"I want him to be beaten and I want to end him for the s**t he is."
Covington shouted, "The truth is Jorge Masvidal, a piece s**t father and a piece s**t fighter, in the next segment."
The clip lasted nearly six minutes and featured clips of Covington's American Top Team teammates Dustin Poirier, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and Jon Jones, a former light-heavyweight champion, slamming him.
MMA fans quickly commented on the 'The Real Street Judas’ video. The title is a play on Covington’s 'Street Judas Masvidal’ taunt.
One replied, "I knew this buildup would be amazing."
Another stated: "I truly appreciated this comical relief.. now, break his jaws for the community."
Another said, "This is childish lol, but I'll tune it in."
One commented, "You guys are going to make a fortune from this fight!"
Masvidal claims that Covington is yet to reply to the video.
Masvidal and Covington (36 and 33 respectively) will be looking to jump back into title contention by winning emphatically in the UFC’s third pay-per view card.
Both are coming off defeats to Kamaru Usman as the dominant welterweight champion. Masvidal was knocked out by The Nigerian Nightmare at UFC 261, while Covington lost a decision at UFC 268 six months later.
