Paddy Pimblett, a new UFC fighter, has set his sights to compete with Conor McGregor in a major showdown.
In September, the former Cage Warriors featherweight champion won a remarkable debut in the lightweight division. He defeated Luigi Vendramini in the first round.

Paddy Pimblett already has big success in the UFC

Pimbellt, a Slick Scouse submission expert, is determined to make it all the way to the top. He foresees McGregor battling him in a pay-per view fight that will break records.
When asked about his timeline, he replied to ESPN, "Yeah. Besides him, because he has that name."
"I am certain that if I were to fight him, it would be the biggest box office sale ever." Without a doubt.
"People want him to win, people want him to win, people want me to win.
Pimblett, despite only fighting in the UFC once, isn't lacking confidence.
When asked how he could possibly fight McGregor and achieve his goals, he replied: "Cause i'm The Baddy."

"I have a little saying. "Everyone loves The Baddy." Everyone, it's boss. It's a wonderful feeling.
"Obviously, there are a few haters, trolls, and idiots online at my Youtube and Insta.
"I receive lots of love. It's 95% love, so I don't let the 5% hate get to me anymore. I just laugh."
Pimblett has also ambitions to bring the UFC back home to Liverpool for a sold out show at Anfield. However, he doesn’t see that happening for at most two more years.
He stated that he would be open with him and admit that it won't be until 2024/25. It's not.
"I will win three fights in 22. Then I can demand it when I am 4-0 in UFC. I'm working toward a ranking, but they won't give it to me until I'm in top ten or it is like a number-one contender fight or some such thing."
SunSport has learned that Pimblett, a fan favorite, will be making his second trip to the Octagon on March 19, though he has yet to find an opponent.

McGregor is currently looking at an April return to sparring, as he continues to heal from the terrible broken leg that he sustained in his fight with Dustin Pourier last July.
UFC chief Dana White anticipates that the Irishman will return to the octagon this summer.
ESPN reported that he said: "If all goes well with the timing for his healing, he should return this summer."
