TMZ reports that Huntington Beach's house was 'ransacked', and that a safe has been stolen.

According to the report, the MMA icon was not at home when the burglary occurred.

According to reports, an emergency call was made to Huntington Beach Police Department on Friday at 9.54 AM PT.

Another window was also broken on Ortiz’s balcony.

According to the TMZ report, no arrests have been made yet.

In a now-deleted Tweet, the 47-year old said: "Trust and believe that you will be captured."

Ortiz was born Huntington Beach, which earned him his UFC nickname, 'The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.

He made his UFC debut on 1997. In December 2019, he retired from the Octagon.

His last fight in the UFC was in 2012, and he also fought for Bellator later in his career.

Ortiz also faced Anderson Silva, a former champion of the UFC, in the boxing ring last January. However, Ortiz lost in round one.
