ANTHONY JOSHUA needs to appoint Adam Booth his next trainer if he wants Oleksandr Usyk to take his belts back.

"Tyson and Sugarhill are together, without sounding arrogant. I could see that it was the perfect relationship.

Adam Booth is the best coach for Anthony Joshua, if he rates me and listens to anything. Adam Booth is my favorite trainer.

Lee is a complete fan of Team GB mentor McCracken, and doesn't believe he should be replaced.

He hopes that Booth, who is based in Surrey and worked with Ryan Burnett before he had to retire prematurely due to injury, will be at least considered for this position.

Lee warned Booth, who was nicknamed the Dark Lord by some of his former fighters, that Booth runs a cult-like organization and that AJ's entourage might be a casualty.

Lee said, "Nobody understands the game as well as Adam Booth." Adam Booth is the only one who knows how to make a fighter better.

"But it would have a few conditions. Like when it is time to train, Anthony Joshua is the only one who walks through the gym door.

They lock the door behind their backs and get on with their day. Adam already shared with me some of the things he's seen and a few texts about how he plans to improve Joshua.

"Rob McCracken, a great coach, does not need to be replaced, in my opinion, but if that is the case, then I believe he should at minimum touch base with Adam and explore this avenue."

Since Fury joined Hill's Detroit-based team in 2019, Lee has been Fury’s assistant trainer. He also trains Joseph Parker, the former heavyweight champion of New Zealand.

Booth is so highly regarded that the Limerick idol finds it funny that he gets promoted ahead of his mentor.

He stated that he still believes Adam Booth is the greatest coach in England, and it is insane that he has not been coached yet.

"If Anthony team up with Adam, then he becomes an instrument, look at what David Haye did, he beat Nikolai Valuez and John Ruiz, and challenged a prime Wladimirklitschko, when he was the greatest heavyweight of his time.

"If you follow Adam Booth, which is a lot like a cult leader, then the results will speak for themselves.

"I'm sure they know each others, they just have to pick up the telephone, it is a partnership which would get me very excited."
