Restraining Order Imposed Against Andy Ruiz
A restraining order has reportedly been issued against former world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz after his ex-wife, Julia Lemus, filed a legal application. Lemus accused Ruiz of sexual assault and pointing a gun at her.
Allegations of Abuse and Assault
Julia Lemus claimed that Ruiz sexually assaulted, abused, and terrorized her during their relationship. She alleged that he even pointed an AK-47 at her face after she expressed discomfort with him purchasing a gun.
Court Battle and Ruling
After a court battle where both parties testified along with witnesses, the judge ruled in favor of Lemus. The three-year restraining order mandates that Ruiz stay 100 yards away from Lemus, her home, job, and vehicle. He was also ordered to undergo anger management and prohibited from owning guns.
Outcome of the Case
The judge granted Lemus sole custody of their two children, although Ruiz is allowed supervised visits. Andy Ruiz has not publicly responded to the report, with his latest social media post being a video announcing his new partner's pregnancy in March.

Boxer's Future
Andy Ruiz's last fight was in September 2022, where he emerged victorious against Luis Ortiz.
