HAFTHOR BJORNSSON promised to knock out Eddie Hall as soon as he won against Devon Larratt.
The Icelandic giant won a comfortable first round TKO victory over Larratt, a short-notice replacement in Dubai on Saturday night.

Hall was supposed to share the ring alongside Game of Thrones star, but was forced from their grudge match by a biceps injury.
Bjornsson, nicknamed The Mountain, was quick to send a message for his friend.
He said in his post-fight interview: "You guys know [next] what I want to fight."
"You guys are smart. You know what, it's not you. Eddie is at home, I'm sure, with his popcorn and cola.
"Enjoy your life, buddy. "I'm going to knock you out very soon."
Bjornsson (32), was aggressive from the beginning and looked to be the center of the ring with his pressure, jabs, and pressure.
He soon realized he was struggling to keep his balance after the pair had clinched, and nearly fell through the ropes.
Larratt, 47 years old, wasn't discouraged by the giant in front of his and tried to score counter shots. Two of these shots found their way home.
The ref quickly gave him a count for what looked at first like a slip.
This signal was the signal that Bjornsson needed to step up and fire his left-hand, which started to find its place at will.
Larratt tried to keep the distance between him and his opponent, but was unable to do so.
The referee wisely stopped the contest after hearing Larratt wailing in pain from a large left hand.
After the final bell, Bjornsson was full praise for his opponent and said: "My thoughts are just wow.
"Devon is a true warrior. He has the most generous heart I know. This guy is amazing.
"It is brave to take on a fight with only five weeks notice."
Larratt quickly thanked his supporters and joked that he wanted one of his arm-wrestlers back to take his place.
He stated, "Thanks to everyone who supported me and believed that I could do it."
"I know there's an arm-wrestler who is a better boxer than me.
"Please take revenge on Thor for my sake. Someone from the arm-wrestling universe who actually has some hands.
