AJ was told AJ was in front, but Usyk won by a split decision

On the judges' scorecards, he was down 115-113 and 113-115. He was also down 112-116.

His corner told him that he had complete control and was helping him.

Robert Garcia, the new coach, and the rest told AJ AJ he was 3-0 up following three rounds - despite almost everyone agreeing that Usyk had won at least one.

This could have been because AJ didn’t feel the need to increase the ante sooner to win points – or go all-out for a knockout.

Amazingly, the same thing happened in the first fight with Usyk.

Robert McCracken, his camp leader, told AJ that he was winning, before he lost on points.

Many fans who watched the Jeddah tactics from home couldn't believe it.

One replied: "Why did AJ’s corner tell him he was up 3-0?" Even if that was his advice, it's not good advice.

Another said: "Poor tactics again, AJ. I tried to outbox a superior boxer. Another poor corner work, too many voices, and incorrect information being given.

Another added, "Is this a joke following the debacle AGAIN at the AJ corner?" He was at one point saying that he was four rounds ahead.

Another user commented, "AJ's team really failed him tonight. He was not honest with him in his corner about how it looked in the ring, and he allowed that outburst."

One final response was: "Did AJ fail to get rid of his corner? They were telling him he was winnin't then he went and replaced them all with another corner of yes-men."

Fans were also stunned to see the scorecards. American Glenn Feldman gave AJ the first three rounds, and 5-1 after six.

British judge Steve Gray had AJ 2-1 up, 5-4, but the sudden surge of the Ukrainian made it clear that he sided for the champ.

Joshua was furious after the announcement. He threw two belts out the ring and then stormed off to confront a fan.

He returned to Usyk to ask him about his win. Then he grabbed the microphone and began a long speech that stole the spotlight from the champion.

AJ was overcome with emotion and broke down during his press conference.

He stated, "Am I proud to be me?" It's very difficult for me to say that I'm proud about myself.

"I don’t feel anything. I’m deeply upset in my heart."
