After being beaten by a 'young man' from Bronze Bomber camp, Tyson Fury delayed Deontay wilder fight

DEONTAY WILDER accused Tyson Fury, who he claimed delayed their trilogy fight by being beaten in sparring with someone from the American camp.

Fury, 33 years old, attacked The Bronze Bomber in July after he claimed that the Brit had lied about contracting coronavirus to push the bout forward from July to October.

After a Covid epidemic, the Gypsy King had no choice but to postpone their clash of three years ago to October 9.

Wilder will be attempting to regain the WBC belt he lost in 2020, when he takes on The Gypsy King.

The American believes Fury is running away from him, and he continues to believe that Fury was beat up during preparations for his July date.

Wilder said on the PBC Podcast, "They're trying run from it. I'm running for it." I doubt he had COVID.

"I knew he wasn’t doing well at camp. He was being pounded up by the young men.

"I had a young man from my camp who was putting him together."

They fought to a draw in December 2018, Los Angeles. Many felt Fury won the fight after he leapt off the table in the 12th round.

The two fighters then parted ways, with each fighting twice before they re-entered the ring together 14 months later in Las Vegas.

Fury managed to take the American's belt and dominate him, stopping Wilder in round seven.

The coronavirus pandemic prevented a trilogy fight from taking place in 2020.

Fury tried to get around Wilder, and set up a undisputed match with Anthony Joshua, the unified champion.

An arbitrator, however, decided that the American was contractually entitled for a third fight. This decision quashed any possibility of Fury-Joshua fighting next.

Fury must now pass through Wilder once more in order to allow the Brits to meet up for all their belts.

AJ will have to defend his belts against Oleksandr Usyk, the former undisputed champion in cruiserweight on September 25 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Fury spoke out about Joshua's fight saying that AJ could not even smoke a cigarette. Fury said that he doesn't have the minerals to defeat a man like him.

"I told Eddie Hearn [AJ’s promoter] straight that the difference between me and him was that he is a businessman while I am a f***ing Spartan.

"And I'll show it to him when I get into the ring. He won't last six rounds, and I will absolutely destroy that bodybuilder. It will end quickly.

"He and his entire team know that. That's why Eddie Hearn has been guiding me around for the past ten years."
