Mayweather would win bronze at the 1996 Olympics, before beginning an iconic career in prizefighting.

He also called upon an old friend to spar during that time.

Moore didn't know that this would bring him to Roger Mayweather, Mayweather's uncle.

They would get along and form a team, with Moore learning what he called "the blueprint" to defeat Mayweather.

He said: "When my first time I walked into the gym I was there for Floyd and Roger Mayweather to spar."

"I'm there getting ready and getting prepared, and then I entered the ring with Floyd. Roger was by Floyd's side and Roger was paying attention to me.

"After we sparred he came over and said to me, 'Man you got a coach?'

"It was always competitive. Floyd always had problems with me. As everybody knows, Roger trained Floyd but also Don.

"So Roger put the same training into Floyd as he did into him, so he also put it into this young man. It was just that Floyd was the star of the show and I was not.

"I am the underdog, and Floyd has already put in his hard work, we've already sparred rounds punch after punch.

"I did everything I could to prepare him for the fights. Now it's my chance to show the sex I have been showing since then.

"I'm more than a sparring partner. I'm also a fighter."

Mayweather, 45 was officially retired after defeating Conor McGregor (33), in ten rounds in their crossover fight.

Moore would fight his final bout in his 19-bout unbeaten career. He had 12 KOs, but no major titles.

Moore stated that he took the time to spend quality time with his children, in order to be a father and a man of family.

"A parent is still a parent, regardless of whether you are boxing or not."

Their dad was about to share the ring with one the greatest ever, and in front of only 20 VIP fans, they were left as proud as could be.

Moore smiled: "They are so proud. It gives me goosebumps to talk to them every day.

"They are so important to me, and they just give me that energy. It's so wonderful to see the families love it."
