Big Baby knocked Cardenas to the ground in round four
As he won in Nashville, the former heavyweight champion was not even tested by the smaller man.
Cardenas was sent to the ground three times by "Big Baby", before Cardenas won a fourth round of KO.
Miller, despite his weight advantage, actually weighed less than he did last month against Ariel Bracamonte.
Big Baby weighed 341lbs when he beat Bracamonte in Buenos Aires.
Before his ban, his usual fighting weight was approximately 280lbs.
Miller was unable to fight Anthony Joshua or Jerry Forrest due to his positive test for banned substances. He made his return in June.
Tyson Fury hired Big Baby to sparred with him prior to Dillian Whyte's defeat by Gypsy King in April.
Miller, after seeing Fury knock Whyte dead, would love to have a go at the Body Snatcher.
Dmitry Salita, his promoter, said that Jarrell Miller against Dillian Whyte had the potential to be an explosive fight in the heavyweight division.
"The personalities, styles - Jarrell will fight, he'll seek and destroy, and put on a show to the fans.
"And then there's also the crossroads nature that this fight makes it a really fascinating tussle.
"Their combination of characters would create an enormous spectacle, and the winner would be in line to a world title shot – the buildup alone would be box-office."
