After his victory in masterclass over Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk is back at school with Mikhail, the new champ

MIKHAIL USYK feels happier that his father is the heavyweight champion of world -- and back at school.

Ice-cool Oleksandr said that he was more concerned about his 6-year-old son's anxiety than the Brit powerhouse ahead of Saturday's masterclass victory over Anthony Joshua.

, Oleksandr Usyk is now at the top of his game.
Mikhail and Usyk are now back at school.

SunSport reported that the WBA, IBF, and WBO king has already returned to drop-off duty, despite a few bruises and cuts from his schooling at Tottenham.

Father-of-three Usyk stated: "My son is more willing to go to school now that I've returned home, and I'm taking my son there."

"But, as far I'm concerned," said one of my children. "Honestly, that's something I love."

Joshua has brought British boxing up by its bootstraps and left almost everyone in the business, Tyson Fury included, devastated by his loss.

It is difficult to find an active or retired fighter, pundit or promoter who agrees with the genius technician's gameplan.

AJ's three-man coaching staff did not tell him to stop the rounds. He continued limping towards the unanimous decision of the judges.

However, Usyk defended Team AJ and said: "I don’t believe he was boxing safely and hoped the judges would help him somehow because of the home-soil fact.

"There are many reasons his team didn’t tell him about the KO.

"When you focus too much on knockout it just doesn't happen very often.

"Whether he thought of the judges or not -- I guess this is his deal."

Both Usyk (and AJ) won Olympic gold in London 2012 and are great ambassadors for the sport.

Although the build-up was generally good, the mercurial leftie made clear that he saw AJ simply as a regular boxer who has nothing to fear.

This should alarm bells AJ, who has booked an immediate rematch for March, particularly as the new king is already making significant improvements.

Usyk responded to being reminded of his assessment by saying: "I stand behind what I said."

It all depends on him and his team. We are the same -- we will do our best to make progress and be stronger.

Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Uzyk is Parimatch Tech’s first ever Responsible Gambling Project Ambassador. This role has been taken on by the company to highlight and address problem gambling.
