Today, the 32-year old admitted that he drove while under the influence.

He was sentenced for three days in prison, but TMZ Sports reports that he was allowed credit for three days served.

Spence made a statement Monday through the Dallas County District Attorney's Office.

It said: "As my recovery progressed, I thought about how much I could have lost, and how fortunate I was to have a second chance at living. But, I also know that I can spread a powerful message with this platform.

Don't drink and drive. One drink. It is not worth it.

Spence Jr. revealed earlier this year that he had PTSD from the horror smash.

Amazingly, Spence survived and he returned to boxing a year later.

The unbeaten Texan is still a victim to the emotional trauma of the crash, and has now admitted to suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Spence, 32, stated on The Good Fight With Kate Abdo that he would like different flashes when a car ran into him.

Or I could be stopped at a red light, and have flashes and cars hitting me and causing car accidents all the time.

It was when I was driving down the street, at a red light or any other type of traffic.

"PTSD is definitely real because I had flashes about getting into accidents all the time. They still happen to me sometimes while I drive.

Spence added that he had been in an accident three months prior to his accident. Someone hit me from behind.

It shook me up a bit, but it's hard to get back to me. I am always calm and collected. I was kicked out by my insurance company.

"I was in G-Wagon so they were like, "He messed up Ferrari, now a GWagon 4x4."

They were sold for $600,000 in just five/six month. They paid me for both cars outright."
