After rivals squared off to confirm the long-awaited fight, Faryal Makhdoom, Amir Khan's wife, labels Kell Brook "a bit boring".

AMIR KHAN'S wife Faryal Makhdoom called Kell Brook boring after they squared up in preparation for their long-awaited bout.

During their first meeting public since the February 19th clash, the Brits were forced to disintegrate.

Faryal, 35, accused Brook of being dull despite the tensions being high.

Sky Sports News spoke to her: "I was so impressed.

"Amir looked very confident and really chilled.

"And some of his discoveries were quite shocking.

"So it was funny. It went well. It made everyone laugh.

"Kell was a little... Kell needs... he was a little... boring."

The reporter quickly moved on, laughing at her comments.

When asked about what she was most shocked by her husband's remarks, the 30-year old TV star answered: "I think just the shut up'. It's just the plain old shut down.

"It's funny because Kell mentioned Amir being knocked out, and Amir claimed that you were punched with a jab. You couldn't get up.

"It was very funny.

"But you know what? Good luck to both fighters.

"It's hard sport, and I wish them all the best."

Khan shouted, "You got knocked down by a jab at Crawford, you p***y!"

Brook replied: "You searched for a path out, quit, and you searched for a route out."

Still Khan continued: "Mate, you were knocked out by an ajb. So stop giving me the big one.

"We will be watching what you do on February 19. It's not worth giving up on the big ones.
