DEONTAY WILDER has been contemplating retiring after Tyson Fury's latest defeat.
After their first fight, the Bronze Bomber lost his WBC Heavyweight World Title to the Gypsy King in February 2020.
Deontay Wilder may retire from boxing
As they met for the third time, the two warriors produced a battle of the ages that lasted two months.
Wilder had knocked the Brit down twice but he suffered an 11th-round knockout to end their long-running rivalry.
Fury appears to be set to defend against Dillian Howte in 2022, before trying to unify the division against Oleksandr Uzyk or Anthony Joshua. However, there are still questions about what Fury will do next.
Wilder made it clear to Telli Swift, his fiancee, that "the best is yet" as he promised to return to the ring.
It seems that he might be having a change in heart. The 36-year old star suggested that he could give up the gloves.
Wilder spoke to Kevin Hart about the Cold As Balls segment on the Laugh Out Loud network. He said that it was mixed feelings as he had achieved all his goals in the sport.
"When my daughter was one, I told her that I would be a champion for her and that I would be able support her beyond her imagination."
"I've done this. There are many things I've done that I feel I need to prove to others, because I've proven them all.
"Should i push forward?" Do I push on? Or should I retire and concentrate on other things I have, or other things I want to do?
