The Klitschko brothers have asked the WBA not to allow Dmitry Bivol, a Russian fighter, to fight Canelo Avarez.
Bivol, the light-heavyweight champion of the organization, will face Alvarez in an exciting bout in May.

The Klitschkos believe that the WBA should follow the example set by other sporting governing body by banning Bivol from combat.
Russia was kicked out by Fifa of the 2022 World Cup Play-offs and their Grand Prix by Formula One were taken away by them. Russian F1 driver Nikita Mazepin was also fired by Haas.
Wladimir Klitschko supports these measures because he believes sanctions against Russia must be imposed in any way possible.
Wladimir answered BBC 5 Live's question about whether Bivol should be allowed fight Canelo.
"Every sanction is about Russia's politics. It's not against athletes or personalities.
"Every Russian representative involved in this case should be sanctioned. This is a way to show Russia that the rest of the world opposes this senseless war, and that there's nothing good about it."
Vitali, the elder brother, is also in agreement and calls on the Russian people to press President Vladimir Putin.
He believes that a ban on sports would signal to Russians that war is futile.
Mayor of Kyiv Vitali stated: "The Russian people have to press Putin from within the country and show it's a senseless war.
"People pay with the lives of others, already thousands have died on both sides. It is not clear what purpose they are serving.
"For what purpose [is] the war?" Our idea of being part the European Union? Our idea of being a member of the European family.
"We see our future in a democratic, modern nation. That's why we fight for values and principles for our country.
Former boxing world champions are fighting for their country by taking to the front lines in Kyiv.
Russian airstrikes are getting closer to the capital, forcing thousands of people to flee the outskirts of Irpine and Bucha.
Vitali and his brother, however, have remained with the mayor, stating that he is willing to die for his country.
