Promoter Frank Warren believes DEONTAY WILDER should face Briton Joe Joyce in their comeback fight.
Wilder, 36, said last week that he will continue boxing despite his second defeat to Tyson Fury in October.
After two losses to Fury
, Wilder will continue his career.
The American remains ranked No1 in WBC's rankings, behind Fury.
Warren supports Joyce's Olympic silver medalist and believes it is a fair fight, as his man is No2.
He spoke to iFL TV and said that he was in grueling fights with Tyson. The last fight was a classic.
"Fury-Wilder II is the greatest fight of the past 20 years.

Before taking on Fury in December 2018, Wilder had won 40 of his professional fights. The bout ended in controversially a draw.
After knocking out Dominic Breazeale in 2019 and Luis Ortiz, the hard-hitting heavyweight fighter from Alabama was stopped in round seven.
The Gypsy King was then defeated by Fury for the third time. He lost to Fury twice, but eventually lost by KO in round 11.
He said, however, that he couldn't stop talking about the future of the sport. I have to continue my journey. I must, I must.
"I am looking to resume my career. There are many other things that I need to do.
"I'm taking my children away if they come back, because now my life is full of joy like I want.
"I have sacrificed so much in order to be in this place in my life. To be able live my life the way I want it to for the rest of their lives."
Joyce, who was an amateur in 2017, has now won all 13 pro bouts.
His greatest win was in an all-British match with Daniel Dubois 18 month ago. A clash that he won by a 10th round knockout.
Joyce was scheduled to face Joseph Parker, a former WBO champion this summer. However, that fight has been moved to September.
Although his opponent has yet to be revealed, the Brit will still fight in July.
