JAKE PAUL AND Tyron Woodley may not have beaten each other for eight rounds, but their mothers hugged in the ring afterward.
Parents were there to witness their sons' action in Cleveland last night.
After Paul won a split-decision victory, celebrations could start for his camp.
After striking up an unlikely friendship, Pamela Ann Stepnick, mother of Logan, decided to hug Deborah Woodley.
The pair shared a warm, intimate moment as they rocked together - the same as in June, when they squared off.
Woodley's mother is not afraid to embrace her son's team members or opponents.
The Chosen One had submitted Darren Till at UFC 218 and she shared a long embrace backstage with the Brit.
After The Nigerian Nightmare crowned her son as the welterweight king, Kamaru Usman and she shared an emotional moment together
The lovely gesture was appreciated by Twitter users. However, a couple laughed that they could fight better than their boys.
The main event lasted eight rounds. Paul was the dominant player in the first stages, before Woodley shocked him in round four. However, the 39-year old ex-UFC champ couldn't capitalize on the huge hook that rocked Woodley.
24 year old The Problem Child recovered well, held his own and won the fight. He was able to take it 78-74 and 77-75 and 75-77 on the judges scorecards.
Despite all the trash talk that had been going on before the fight, which included Deborah at the pre-fight press conference, Paul was quite gracious in his victory.
He stated, "Look, I don’t know what to do. He's a formidable opponent.
"He has been boxing for over 20 years. This is something I have been doing for three years.
"All respect to Tyron. He is my only respect."
Paul's next move is not clear. There are fights against Conor McGregor and Tommy Fury on the cards.
