After seeing the multi-weight women’s champion in action it inspired Mayweather (44), to train his own.

According to Vegas Insider, his coach Gerald Tucker said that Floyd was also motivated by Claressa’s work.

"He said to me many times, while watching her train with us, that she could fight.

"And I felt the energy that it gave him as he trained right after his gym session. Floyd was extremely motivated by watching his mentor train with such passion.

"Floyd was happy to have Claressa at camp with him.

"Floyd mentioned that he came to the gym for the fight while Claressa was working on her bag.

"He asked us whether we wanted him to be there and we replied, "Hell yes".

"He's going to do his best to support Claressa while he is here and also get more training to help him prepare for his fight in Dubai later this month."

After beating Conor McGregor 33 in 2017, Mayweather retired from the sport. However, he has made a few exhibition appearances that have kept him in it.

He was most recently taken by Logan Paul, 26-year-old YouTuber, but did lose TWO STONE in his weight.

Mayweather has confirmed that he will fight again in this month's Burj Al Arab Jumeirah HELIPAD.

Money Kicks, a real-name Rashed Belhasa, was an online vlogger who revealed that he was interested in becoming the opponent.

Mayweather, who is also Shields' assistant coach, has been working in preparation for his return to Miami and Las Vegas.

Shields stated that Floyd is in good shape. He sparred a 21-year old for eight rounds, and he didn't take breaks between rounds.

He can do what he wants inside the ring. He could give trouble to all the guys at 147 or 154 if he wanted.

"From what I could see, his legs are still functioning as well as his motor,"
