EDDIE HEARN: Anthony Joshua is "wanting all the smoke" after he agreed to terms for a WBC heavyweight title match with Tyson Fury.
On Tuesday, the 32-year-old Brit from Watford revealed that he had agreed to split 60-40 of Fury's purse in Fury's favor.
Hearn claims Joshua "wants all of the smoke" ahead of his Fury showdown
Joshua and his team have agreed to fight Fury.
Hearn shared with Joshua the good news that Joshua had accepted the terms.
It is expected that it will be the largest purse in British boxing history.
If everything goes according to plan, the Battle of Britain could take place in Cardiff, Wales, at the Principality Stadium.
Due to respect for Queen Elizabeth, who unfortunately died last Thursday at the age of 96, the announcement of terms was delayed.
Official statement: "258 and @MatchroomBoxing confirm, on behalf de @anthonyjoshua that we accepted all terms offered by Fury's Team for a fight Dec 3.
"Due to Queen's death, it was decided to stop all communication. We await a reply.
Joshua's promoter, Matchroom boxing chief Hearn retorted the statement and stated: "AJ wants all of the smoke!"
After two consecutive losses to Oleksandr Uzyk, AJ will enter the December war against Fury, 34.
The 35-year-old Ukrainian lost the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles to the WBO, WBO, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles in Saudi Arabia last month. He was defeated by a split decision.
