ALEN BABIC fought Mark Bennett at the weigh-in. Security had to intervene and seperate the heavyweights.
They appear in Eddie Hearn's second installment of 'Fight Camp'. It is staged in the promoter’s Essex backyard.
Alen Babic and Mark Bennett engaged in a SLAP fight during their weigh-in
Babic is known for his unpredictable personality, but it was Bennett, a former soldier in the army who took Babic by surprise.
While on tour in Afghanistan, the Brit touched Babic's face, prompting Croatian to give him some slaps.
Bennett responded with a more meaty slap. Security was called in to stop the chaos.
Babic is 7-0 all by knockout and has never advanced past the third round.
Bennett (7-1) isn't fazed, and he accused his rival of "pulling people off the sofa" in the past.
Bennett said that he believed he had a slight advantage over his opponents. Bennett said, "For one I have seven weeks notice.
"I have been working out for seven weeks, training hard. I am also bigger. I will tell you the truth: I am there to fight.
"I'm going to fight on Saturday night. I'm not just coming to get a paycheck. We are going to have a great time.
"I know that he has had seven fights. He is doing well. He hasn't given his opponents any notice, I think.
"I think he's just been pulling people off of the settee. He has good stock, but I don't think so.
"When I win it, it will increase my stock tremendously. I want to be active.
"Hopefully, I get signed to somebody and we can move from there and get bigger fights on decent platforms. That's the goal.
