The win by Serrano, which was also the headliner in Jake Paul's rematch against Tyron Woodley's fight, almost guarantees a blockbuster with Ireland’s Taylor.
She stated, "MVP baby. I hope you guys were proud of me." Jake Paul, Nakisa and everyone else who came to see.
"Thank you to everyone who bought the pay-per view. This is for women's boxing. I'm doing this for all of them, baby."
Taylor, the undisputed lightweight champion, fulfilled her contract with a victory over Firuza Sharipova at Liverpool.
Serrano did the same a week later, meaning that the boxing legends are set for a historic match.
Taylor, 35, beat Serrano’s sister Cindy, 39 in 2019. He was also last year in talks with Amanda, 33.

"If he's the one to make the fight between Amanda Serrano and me, I don't complain at all about his involvement in boxing."
"He's clearly promoting Amanda Serrano right now, so he's going to play an important part in getting the fight over the line.
"So yeah, as I said, I don't mind him being in boxing, if that means he's going make the biggest fight in women’s boxing history."
Taylor said, "It's probably one of the most important fights in women's boxing's history, and it's an incredible privilege and honor to be in such a position."
