AMIR KHAN accused Kellbrook of racism for threatening to destroy the British-Pakistani 'poppadomchin'.
The 35-year-old couple have been at war for more than a decade. They will finally come to an agreement in Manchester on Saturday.
Kell Brook was criticized by Amir Khan for allegedly calling him a poppadom chin.
Khan used Thursday's press conference to bring up a single trash-talk video that he felt was too extreme.
Khan stated: "I saw a Kell video the other day in which he claimed he was going smash my poppadom chin."
"That sounded racist, I want to find out why he said it."
Brook tried to explain and deflect the situation, but Sky Sports presenter Adam Smith intervened to calm things down and bring the subject to a different topic.
This was the second controversy at the press conference. Brook had just accused Khan of 'w***ing’ on porn sites moments earlier.
This was a reference to an image of Khan masturbating during a 2017 video call.
Sky Sports had to quickly apologize to the viewers for using bad language in a message displayed on their screen.
Khan made the most public comments at the beginning of the conference. He said that he was worried about Kell's well-being after giving him a beating. It will be something like he has never felt before.
"I will place him in his place after ten years.
"He's been obsessed with me, a fanboy. I've been living in his head so long that I owe him rent.
"But we have had enough talking so I just want him to go in the ring and do a job."
Brook retorted, "It goes back our amateur days. He used to win championships with his weight and I did it at the weight above.
"He did well at Olympics and got a large pro signing fee. We were both signed by Frank Warren and promised a fight, but he would often say that he didn’t know who we were in interviews.
"But now, we are three hours away, and I will put him down on Saturday night."
