Vows to Pack on Pounds
Amir Khan, the former British boxing legend, has announced his intention to come out of retirement and face off against Jake Paul. Despite a three stone weight difference, Khan is determined to put on the pounds in order to defeat the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Retirement and Ban
Khan retired from boxing in February 2022 after a loss to his bitter rival Kell Brook. However, despite serving a drugs ban following his last bout, Khan has not ruled out a comeback and is willing to move up in weight class to fight Paul.
Criticizing Jake Paul
Speaking on Heart radio, Khan voiced his frustrations with Paul, stating, "Jake Paul, he gets on my nerves a little bit. I think the way he conducts himself, the way he acts, and he's just full of himself as well. He thinks he can fight, he's only been boxing for like a year, so yeah, I'd love to fight him."
Ready to Beat Him Up
Khan added, "He's been very lucky though, he's a little bit heavier than me, but I don't mind putting the pounds on just to beat him up."

Paul's Recent Fights
Paul, 26, suffered his first defeat in February of this year, losing to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia. However, he bounced back in August with a win over ex-UFC star Nate Diaz. Paul weighed 185lb for his last fight, while Khan weighed 149lb for his loss to Brook.
Khan's Drugs Ban
Khan, the 2004 Olympic silver medallist, is currently serving a two-year drugs ban after failing a drug test last year. Traces of Ostarine, a substance that aids weight loss and muscle growth, were found in his system. Khan maintains that he unknowingly consumed the substance.
A statement from UKAD confirmed Khan's ban, but also acknowledged that he had established that the violations were not intentional.
Khan's comeback fight against Paul could be a highly anticipated event in the boxing world, with fans eagerly waiting to see if the British boxing legend can come out of retirement to defeat the YouTube sensation.
