Brook wanted to fight Khan since he was a child.

They have never reached an agreement as their egos have gotten in the way of a British superfight.

Khan-Brook may not be as prominent as it used to be, but the British duo still want it to happen.

Khan, however, has revealed the latest obstacle in negotiations. They are now at odds over the weight of the fight.

Khan stated that Kell said he would fight at the weight of 147lbs. I agreed. Kell now wants to be 149 pounds. He then wants 149.5lbs. Are you serious about wanting to fight?

Khan was an Olympic silver medallist at 2004 Athens Olympic Games. His professional record includes 34 wins and five losses.

The 34-year old has not fought since the beginning of July 2019, and has not held a title in any world fight since losing his super-lightweight unification bout to Danny Garcia in 2012.

Brook was promoted many times by Hearn, but he and Brook parted ways in recent years.

Khan lost his most recent challenge for the world title in the sixth round to Terence Crawford two-and-a-half years ago.

Brook currently has a record of 39 wins and three losses. His last fight was in November 2020, when he was stopped by Crawford.

The 35-year old also lost to Gennady Gorlovkin at middleweight, and Errol Spence Jr. at welterweight.

Some feel that Khan and Brook are no longer interested in fighting.

Eddie Hearn (Brook's ex-promoter) told iFL TV that the fight was a busted flush. "Neither one wants it anymore, particularly Kell.

"If they can get the money, and get you to spend it, I'm sure people would. We're out of this fight.
