Mayweather did not lose any of his 50 professional fights

His impeccable 50-0 professional record supports that.

Khan, 35, retired earlier this year after being stopped by Brit rival Kellbrook. He believes he would have Money Mayweather.

He admitted that his opinion was controversial and told Gary Neville, 45: "You're right, you know what?" He'd be defeated. He'd be defeated, honestly.

"If I were in my prime and he in his prime, I would be very confident.

"I'm going get a lot hate for that. I'm sorry guys, but you have to believe yourself. That's what I've done all my career."

Khan stated that Khan's lighting speed and movements would make the difference between the fighters if they fought.

Khan stated that it would be "like playing chess" if Khan and Khan fought but the Bolton-born star believes he will win.

He said: "I think stylistically, when Mayweather was younger, he had lots of speed and a lot more movement.

"But I believe that his speed would have beaten mine, my movement would beat his movement, and he wasn't the greatest puncher in this game so it would be like a game chess, but I would have outboxed he."

Khan lost six of his 40 fights as an amateur boxer.

The Brit tried to fight Money in 2014-15 but was unsuccessful. Mayweather lost to Marcos Maidana, Andre Berto and Mayweather instead.

Mayweather ended rumors that the pair would fight in an exhibition.

Khan claimed that Mayweather attempted to convince Khan to retire for a fight.

Mayweather will instead face Mikuru Asakura, a popular YouTuber and MMA fighter, later in the month.
