Amir Khan vs Kellbrook: Crolla breaks down the strengths and weaknesses of each pair in five areas.

AMIR KHAN'S weight restrictions could be what will end Kell Brook's career Saturday night.

Anthony Crolla, Manchester's former lightweight champion, believes the catchweight bout at 149 lbs could have been won or lost at the local arena on Friday morning.

Khan and Brook will be battling in Manchester on Saturday

Khan isn't sure Khan's decision not to move his training camp to Colorado to train with Brian McIntyre, a former foe, for the career-defining fight.

The battle for SunSport was broken down by the 35-year-old United superfan, who identified the five areas where the fight would be decided.

WEIGHT

Khan is very smart at controlling this, as both men are below the 149lb catchweight limit. At 148lb.

It could be the deciding factor in the fight, and it will only weaken Kell.

However, I was amazed at how Kell looked at Thursday's media workout.

BETTING SPECIAL - GET KHAN AT HUGE 40/1 OR BROOK AT 30/1 FOR BOXING SHOWDOWN

Kell is a great nutritionist and told me that Khan's greatest mistake was not giving Brook seven months notice so he can lose weight.

Kell will be huge when he rehydrates. I saw Canelo doing it when he boxed Callum Smith.

Although I thought Canelo was too small to beat Callum on Friday, he quickly made Callum look like his little brother when the fight began.

MIND

Amir played blinder during the build-up, so Kell needs to be careful about his game plan.

Khan's tongue is sharper that Kell's, so he shouldn't get involved in such stuff.

Kell must stick to his game plan and not be sucked in.

A great gameplan is essential for big fights. These two men haven't been in 8oz gloves for a while so they need to be smart.

CHINS

Khan is often called "chinny", but I think that's ridiculous. Khan has been knocked down almost exclusively by elite fighters such as Canelo or Danny Garcia.

Kell's chin doesn't pose a problem, but his eyes sockets are broken. Khan will target them.

POWER

Khan is fast and has the power to generate speed. However, timing is also a powerful tool to generate power. That's Kell's specialty.

Both men are well-known for their very different styles of power and can end fights within a reasonable distance.

CORNER

Khan's decision to train with Crawford and Brian McIntyre seems like a smart move, but it does seem like a huge risk.

He deserves credit for going out of his comfort zone and training alongside a former opponent.

However, you can only bond with a fighter or trainer so much.

Khan can't help but feel helpless if he is in a crisis.

You need someone who is able to guide you in a big fight. This is exactly what Kell does with Dominic Ingle.

There are two possible ways to view Khan's departure from his home. It's a big risk, however, because Khan has no past with the trainer with whom he will be fighting in what could be his biggest fight.
