ANDY RUIZ JR posted a great throwback on Instagram featuring himself and fellow boxer Oscar Valdez.
The fight pair is almost unrecognizable in the post. Both have shaved their heads in the photo taken a few years back.
They also have a lot more tattoos than they did in the past, but that isn't all that has changed.
Ruiz Jr., 31 has lost a lot of weight over the years. Most of this weight loss occurred after Ruiz Jr.'s defeat to Anthony Joshua in Dec 2019.
After defeating AJ in their first meeting in Madison Square Gardens, the Mexican became the heavyweight champion of the world.
Valdez (30), won the WBO featherweight title July 2016, and has kept the belt on ten occasions.
He also won the WBC super featherweight title after beating Miguel Berchelt in February.
Ruiz Jr. posted an Instagram caption praising their accomplishments and the transformation in appearance.
They are both of similar age and share a common boxing history. Ruiz Jr. will fight Devin Vargas undercard to Valdez's March 10th 2018 bout against Scott Quigg.

Many people were stunned by the transformation of the two, one even tweeting "From Cholos To Champions."
Another comment was added: "From MS-13 looking men, to world champion-looking men."
The third was simply "Glow up"
