Ruiz is excited to take on another heavyweight champion, three years after his triumph over AJ in New York.

Ruiz originally intended to target Adam Kownacki, a Polish fighter. However, this now seems unlikely after two losses on the bounce for heavyweight.

Ruiz insists that there are plenty of options for his next fight, which is scheduled for January.

Ruiz stated that while we are still searching, the door is always open and there are so many opportunities.

Ruiz revealed that he believes he can beat The Bronze Bomber after Fury's incredible victory in Las Vegas.

Ruiz stated that he was open to the possibility of Ruiz fighting him.

"We are both part of the same team and it's business as usual."

"I would love to get in the ring alongside him, I'm certain I could beat him."

Ruiz also named Joshua, Usyk and Joshua as possible opponents.

Ruiz will not be fighting for the elite heavyweights any time soon, even though he won over Chris Arreola in May.

Ruiz was fighting Arreola for the first time since being defeated by Anthony Joshua in July 2019.

Ruiz, a 40-year-old veteran, was forced to take a knee on the second ground by Ruiz before Ruiz won unanimously.

Boxing fans seem to believe he isn't on the same level with Fury or AJ. One said: "I like Andy. Good guy. But he doesn’t stand a chance." It's a horrible thing to say.

Another claimed that "just the 6 fights he won’t be getting then."

Charles Martin, an ex-IBF titleholder, has been viewed as a potential opponent along with Luis Ortiz from Cuba.
