Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius's combined net worth - their career earnings, endorsements and fight ahead

British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua is set to return to the ring this weekend for a short-notice showdown against Robert Helenius. Joshua, the former unified heavyweight champion, will face The Nordic Nightmare at The O2 Arena on Saturday night as he continues his career rebuild.

AJ's original opponent, long-time rival Dillian Whyte, was pulled from the fight after failing multiple pre-fight drug tests. Despite the change of opponent, Joshua is determined to continue his winning streak after defeating Jermaine Franklin in April.

Anthony Joshua's net worth

In 2020, Forbes estimated Anthony Joshua's net worth to be £38.1 million ($47 million). However, his current net worth is expected to be significantly higher due to his lucrative sponsorship deals and recent fights, including his bout with Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia last August.

For his fight against Usyk, Joshua reportedly earned a staggering £33 million. While becoming a millionaire was Joshua's initial goal, he now aspires to become a billionaire. Joshua said, "Being a millionaire is good, but you have to set your sights higher."

Robert Helenius' net worth

Unlike Joshua, veteran heavyweight Robert Helenius has not participated in any highly lucrative fights. However, the Swedish-born Finn reportedly earned £1 million for his first-round knockout loss to Deontay Wilder in October 2020. Over his 36-fight career, Helenius has accumulated a net worth of £4 million ($5 million).

Joshua's scrapped match against Dillian Whyte was expected to be a pay-per-view event on DAZN, which would have boosted his earnings. However, after Whyte's withdrawal, the fight with Helenius was made available to regular subscribers rather than being a pay-per-view offering. Promoter Eddie Hearn has stated that Joshua's purse for this fight will be significantly impacted as a result of the change.

Despite the financial setback, Joshua is determined to continue his career rebuild and put on a show for his fans as he faces Helenius in the ring.
