Anthony Joshua asked for an "extra PS3.7million" to allow Tyson Fury and Usyk to fight in an undisputed bout

Frank Warren has accused ANTHONY JOSHUA of sabotage Tyson Fury’s undisputed heavyweight title fight against Oleksandr Usyk. He demanded more step-aside cash.

Just hours before Fury's domestic fight with Dillian Whyte ended, a last-gasp bid for the blockbuster unification bout was rejected.

Frank Warren, the promoter of the fight, claims that Joshua wanted an additional PS3.7 million.

Joshua received a PS15million check to leave his rematch against the undefeated Usyk. Warren claimed that this was not enough for the former heavyweight champion.

TalkSPORT's Queensberry Promotions chief stated that Tyson didn't like it.

Joshua was asked for $5 million more, and he replied, "Enough is enough," and that was it.

He said, "I'm not interested. He's too greedy." That was enough. Tyson is a champion, he's not dependent on Anthony Joshua.

"He and Usyk wanted it on, both wanted it on.

"But there were two people in the middle: one was suing WBC, and the other was asking for more money."

Eddie Hearn, AJ promoter, claimed that the Saudi showdown was a failure because Gypsy King wanted a warm up fight before the multi-million-pound desert dustup.

Warren rejected this notion and said: "It's irrelevant, and I don't care what Eddie Hearn says."

"Eddie Hearn is a prolific speaker and part of the reason these statements don't make it past the line.

"A year ago, when we tried to put together Joshua and Tyson's fight, every week he said, 'It’s done, contracts are being issued', despite the fact that we all signed an agreement to not make any statements until it was over.

Tyson Fury will face his old training partner Dillian Whyte on April

Fury and Whyte's eagerly awaited Battle of Britain will be held on April 23rd, with the Principality Stadium in Cardiff being the most likely venue.

SunSport however understands that other stadiums could also be in the running for the grudge match.

Joshua's rematch with Usyk is expected to take places in May.
