Anthony Joshua cheers Chris Eubank Jr. in Dubai sparring before Brit's grudge match with Liam Williams next month

ANTHONY JOSHUA backed Chris Eubank Jr. in his Liam Williams grudge match, after having cheered him on during training.

Eubank, 32 years old, will be taking on Liam Williams, a middleweight from Wales, in Cardiff. It should prove to have been a heated match next month.

After months of insults, Chris Eubank Jr will face Liam Williams in Cardiff

Six weeks later, the fight was delayed after Williams sustained a shoulder injury before the December 11th date.

Eubank was preparing for a title shot against GennadyGolovkin, so Joshua appeared at his Dubai training camp.

Eubank uploaded a photo of himself with AJ captioned "Even during the holidays we still remain hustlin'."

Boxing is not a job, it's a lifestyle.

AJ shared a series videos on his Instagram Story that showed Eubank hard at work in the ring.

The star heavyweight fighter, who lost his belts to Oleksandr Usyk in the last fight, also uploaded clips from Survivor classic Eye Of The Tiger that were most famously used in Rocky's boxing film.

Eubank has defeated Marcus Morrison twice and Wanik Awdijan once in 2021.

He will now try to beat Williams, a fierce competitor, to set up a fight with Golovkin.

Williams and Eubank have been engaged in a verbal war for several months, with Williams calling it a "grudge match".

He stated last month that respect was not something he would use to describe his feelings towards Liam.

"He has expressed a lot reckless feelings online, and it doesn’t sit well for me.

"This is a grudge match, a genuine domestic rivalry, and the things he's said has made it personal.

"The things he's said, he's a 'lowlife, scumbag, and cretin, these are the words I can use to describe someone who talks the way that he talks, and he'll eat his words soon enough.

"It appears that he has come to this today and taken about respect, but it has gone too far beyond that and he will be embarrassed."
