Anthony Joshua claims that he stopped Joe Joyce in one round and warns that he will do it again today

ANTHONY JOSHUA insists he would stop Joe Joyce in the first round if they meet again.

Joshua was scheduled to face Oleksandr Uzyk in a rematch. He defeated the British star of the WBA and IBF unified titles in September.

In a title rematch, Anthony Joshua was originally set to face Oleksandr Uzyk.

But Usyk bravely fought for Ukraine against Russia's invasion and could be seen as the end of their struggle.

Eddie Hearn, AJ's promoter, confirmed that they are open to an interim fight in the meantime. Other names could be added.

Joyce, a fellow British boxer, is one of them. He is also a WBO mandatory challenger.

Joshua said he wouldn't have any problem with the Juggernaut, but warned that he would knock him out in one round just like he did when they were young.

Twitter fan claims that Joyce, 32 years old, wouldn't face him. Joyce was denied entry due to 'lack credibility' in 2019.

Joshua replied: "Rolls Eyes ...' Do you really think that I would not fight Joe Joyce?"

He also added another tweet: "Lol okay... I've shared the ring with most people in the heavyweight division right now!"

"I boxed Otto Wallin twice when we were kids, and I boxed Joe in one round. I would do the same today. There hasn't been any change."

If Usyk is not available, Wallin is ready to fight Joshua.

Dmitriy Salaita, the promoter of the Swedish bruiser, has already submitted his name to Hearn. The heavyweight believes that he is more like the Ukrainian champion than lefties Charles Martin or Luis Ortiz.

SunSport spoke with Wallin: "If you look at me three, I think I'd be your best option."

"I had a really good fight [with Tyson] Fury. I sent him to the hospital with 47 stitches. It was Fury's most difficult fight.

"If you take a look at Usyk, and you want to find someone similar to him then I'm your best choice.

"They know I am interested in the fight, and I want it."
