Anthony Joshua Reveals Talks for Blockbuster Event

British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has confirmed that discussions are underway for a mega superfight double, which would see him face off against Deontay Wilder on the undercard of the clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua made the announcement while attending the US Grand Prix in Austin. The event, valued at £325 million, is being considered to take place in Saudi Arabia.

Unification Fight for Fury and Usyk

A unification fight has already been signed between Tyson Fury, the undefeated WBC champion, and Oleksandr Usyk, who currently holds the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles. The fight is scheduled to take place in Riyadh. Terms have also been agreed upon for Anthony Joshua to face Deontay Wilder, however, no date or venue has been set for that match-up.

Possibility of a Mega Card

Anthony Joshua revealed that the plan is to make the Fury vs. Usyk and Joshua vs. Wilder fights part of a mega card event. The next available window for the superfight is expected to be in March or April. Joshua also mentioned that he intends to have a fight in December before taking on Wilder.

Joshua Staying Focused

Despite the ongoing talks and speculation, Anthony Joshua remains focused on his upcoming fights. He stated that he plans to stay busy and not pay attention to the noise surrounding the Wilder fight until the opportunity presents itself.
