Joshua, 32, is now ranked No6 in the WBC rankings, for the first time.

258MGT tweeted: "258 & @MatchroomBoxing are able to confirm, on behalf de @anthonyjoshua that we accepted all terms and conditions presented by Fury's Team for a fight Dec 3.

"Due to Queen's death, it was decided to stop all communication. We await a reply.

WBC ranked Watford's hero No6.

The Mexican sanctioning body has always ruled out AJ because he had never fought in any of their heavyweight titles. He was also the WBA boss twice and IBF boss once.

It helps Joshua to be top-15 in order for Fury, 34, to defend his crown in Cardiff on December 3, against his 32 year-old opponent.

The fight would not have been possible without the high ranking. However, the WBC has a long list contenders who have been paying sanctioning fee for eliminators and lower belts.

Now, however, London 2012's golden boy is rated higher than Fury opponents such as Otto Wallin (8), and Mahmoud Carr (19). There seems to be little stopping a winter Battle of Britain.

Frank Warren, Fury's Hall-of Fame Promoter, has given George control of negotiations with Joshua rep Eddie Hearn as well as AJ's management.

Fury's broadcasters BT Sport were also convinced by the champ that they should consider a deal with Joshua's DAZN App.

Joshua was at Loughborough University training on Monday.

Fury was also working out at Morecambe’s gym while he was there.

SunSport has learned that Fury will begin his dedicated, fight-focused training camp within three weeks, regardless of who he faces.

Fury is not just for Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.

Luis Ortiz called Fury out despite his loss to Andy Ruiz Jr., former heavyweight champion.

Joshua was also challenged by Ortiz

Ortiz, a veteran Cuban fighter, lost 111-112, 112-113, and 111-114 against Ruiz Jr.

"Well, I'm up to fighting either one of them. Let's see if you young men can beat me.

"Give me respect, all heavyweights have/will get dropped at one point.

"So, to say that I'm old because my knees are weakening, what does that tell Fury about Joshua or Whyte hitting Wilder or Fury on the canvas? Are they old?

"I meant that I stood in front toe-toe with a man weighing in 25 more pounds than I and I mostly lost the fight to him.

"And with all respect for Ruiz, i'd love to rematch with you."
