AJ was able to visit several American gyms and coaches after the loss. He will be returning to the Ukraine for his contract rematch.
Joshua announced that he would change his training squad after consulting Rob McCracken.
In a Dubai interview, he said: "I am a loyal character. Loyalty is important to me.
"I was based in Sheffield, and we had a great conversation with my coach. I want to try new things and have a different environment.
"Maybe I could do a Dubai training camp, maybe I could do a camp in Africa, or in America. It would be a great environment to feel inspired and take on the heavyweight division.
"That's 2022 for me. Reorganisation, reorganization, new environment, staying at the top.

Joshua has not yet revealed whether McCracken, the head coach, will be replaced or if he will continue to work alongside another cornerman.
He led AJ to gold at the London Olympics 2012 and two unified heavyweight titles within the professional ranks.
After Joshua, 32, was shocked by Andy Ruiz Jr., 32 in June 2019, he continued to be loyal McCracken.
Six months later, he added Angel Fernandez to his team and Joby Clayton to it. He won on points.
However, AJ, 34, admitted defeat to Usyk. He is determined to take revenge for the second time.
Sky Sports' Joshua said: "When I lost the first, I didn't make any excuses. But I had my reasons, and I knew that I would get it back.
"But this one hurt, because I was 100 percent, no problems. Everything was cool.
"I went there and lost to the better man that evening and it hurt.
"But it gave it me motivation to pull me out of that place where it was mentally killing me." I won't forget the fight I had to win and I will be able to redeem myself."
