Anthony Joshua has 'Stopped Talks With Deontay to Seal Fight Against Tyson Fury In Africa'

Big Fight in Africa?

Anthony Joshua, the British boxing champion, has allegedly halted negotiations with Deontay Wilder to pursue a highly anticipated bout against Tyson Fury. Talks were in progress for Joshua to face Wilder in Saudi Arabia, however, Joshua's friend Tony Bellew claims they have shifted their focus to Fury.

Return to Africa

Bellew revealed that there is speculation regarding Joshua's camp considering a fight in Africa. He expressed excitement at the possibility of reliving the historic "Rumble in the Jungle" event that took place in Zaire. The idea of Joshua and Fury clashing in Africa has gained significant attention.

October Showdown for Fury

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury is set to return to the ring on October 28 in Saudi Arabia. He will be facing former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in a highly-anticipated crossover match. The event has generated substantial excitement among boxing and MMA fans.

Usyk Fight Falls Through

It was initially reported that Joshua could face Oleksandr Usyk for a title unification fight. However, those talks collapsed and Joshua's team is now exploring other options. Usyk, on the other hand, is hopeful that the fight can be revisited in the future.

Potential December Fight

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, mentioned the possibility of Joshua fighting again in December if the Wilder bout cannot be finalized by the new year. Hearn believes that if the Wilder fight can be arranged for December, Joshua would eagerly accept the opportunity. However, until a contract is signed, the door remains open for alternative options.

Will Joshua ultimately face Wilder or Fury? Only time will tell, but the battle for Joshua's next opponent continues.
