ANTHONY JOSHUA confesses that he wakes up thinking about Oleksandr Usyk's devastating loss.
In their September showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Watford fighter had his unified heavyweight titles taken from him by the smooth southpaw.
In September, Anthony Joshua lost a unanimous decision to Oleksandr Uzyk
, Usyk reclaimed the unified heavyweight titles out of AJ clutches.
Joshua, 31 years old, was easily defeated by the undefeated Ukrainian. He still holds that lesson from that fateful night in his heart.
He said to iFL TV, "Many times I wake up in morning and the fight is on my mind. You can't sleep after a fight.
"You can sleep on it after a fight, and then you wake up on the subject. I'm doing the right thing by using it as fuel for the next day.
It is something I think about a lot, not only on a physical level but also up here. It is something I think about a lot.
"That one made my think a lot. I could go on, but I care. It's not a loss. I care deeply."
AJ will seek revenge on Uysk during a possible do-or-die rematch in the early part of next year.
The Olympian is not going to try and outdo his London 2012 gold medallist a second time.
He stated, "I'm done f***ing losing, and I'm done trying to learn sweet science."
"The referee may be thrown to the ground in the next fight, because this is war.
"It's just war, it's annoying.
"It's so hot that I can't even talk about it. It's that passion to win."
Joshua said, "I have one thought in my head, that's War, that is Murder, that’s War, let's get out there and hurt that guy.
"Take his soul until he is ready to give up.
"That's boxing, that's what I know.
"You should hit people repeatedly, and keep applying pressure until they realize you're not going anywhere.
"With the gameplan, that's all that I have at the moment, that one track. Stay on course, take him to places he doesn’t want to."
