He looks in great shape for the fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Joshua, 31, a normally large man, shared two photos from his training camp on Thursday evening to his social media accounts.

Boxing fans were quick to praise his slimmer body, with WBO champion Lawrence Okolie stating: "Lean and mean, boxing machine."

Another one said, "Champ, you look lean!"

Joshua's follower asked: "Just me, or does he seem slimmer than ever?"

One person commented: "Physical specimen."

Joshua stated that he plans to trim his body size. He told Sky Sports, "I do not look at my weight. I'm a heavyweight."

"I customize my training. I have a lot of experience. I've been fighting great fighters for a while, and I've learned about their training camps.

"I have learned how to prepare my body for certain fights. This fight is going to be a tough one for me.

"I am fighting a 12-round fighter. It would be foolish of me to go into the ring bulky and my muscles screaming for oxygen.

"I have been training in this camp like a fighter for 15 rounds. I'm well-conditioned for fighting. This is the key.

What happens when I train this way? My body adapts to the environment and takes its natural form. This is the body it has taken."

Joshua is expected to defeat Usyk, the former undisputed cruiserweight king. Many believe Usyk is a small heavyweight.

AJ, however, doesn't currently have a fight-ending sequence. He said: "I was watching [Evander] Holyfield [James] Quick Tillis this morning and he was saying how he would come and bring about war.

"And if Tyson wins, he'll fight Tyson and rematch him. He lost in the fifth round, according to me.

It doesn't matter what I say or who says it, it doesn't really matter if you are in the ring. It is something I respect, and everyone has the right.

"And that was what I was saying. One day, I'm going to be that guy at the sidelines.

"But for now, I wish Usyk great camp and I wish his team safe travels. The same goes for my team.

"The most important thing is that we keep boxing alive, and we get in there to put on a good fight. That's what we are here for.

"And that's exactly what I'm here for, at the end. He's also here to do the exact same.

"But I don’t know where it’s going to end. It's unclear if it will be the jab or the uppercut. Are you sure what I'm referring to?

"I don’t know the shot, but I want to put on a good show for those who are coming out to see it.

"Because that's what matters at the end."
