Anthony Joshua is ready to accept the Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk stepping aside deal to warm-up fight with a new trainer

ANTHONY JOSHUA is open to a step-aside agreement to allow Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to fight for the undisputed title.

British star AJ planned to rematch the Ukrainian after being dethroned from the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts.

Talks are continuing over multi-million-pound offers for Joshua to step aside in order to allow Fury (33) and Usyk (35) to fight for all the Middle East belts.

SunSport believes that AJ is open for a deal. His price is estimated to be PS15million.

This would allow the two-time champion to fight an interim warm up under the guidance of his new coach team.

Joshua has yet to confirm if he will change his coaching team or add to the camp.

Rob McCracken is the head coach. Together, they have won Olympic gold as well as unified titles in professional ranks.

Eddie Hearn, AJ's promoter, has acknowledged that it is possible to change of approach now with Joshua moving into a must win return.

WBC champ Fury has been given the mandate to fight Dillian Whyte, but Fury has a legal dispute with the sanctioning body about his 20% split of the purse.

The fee would cover the cost of Whyte's unification at four belts.

If he agrees, the WBC mandatory challenger could be eligible for a PS5m payout.

Bob Arum, a US promoter for Fury, and Frank Warren, a UK promoter, both acknowledged Usyk as the opponent they most wanted to reach a deal with.

Warren stated, "It's a saga, but if you can keep things between you and I can get something over it one way or the other."

"We are still working on it, but I believe that over the weekend we'll make some progress and have something to announce.

"Everyone in boxing wants the undisputed fight between Tyson & Usyk. I want to watch it as a fan. That is the fight that we want to see.
