The former champion of unified heavyweight has had some fun with his family, before he gets fully involved in training camp.

Joshua posted a reel of him and his nephews on a water-rafting adventure to his Instagram account on Thursday.

The caption that accompanied his photo read: "I just realized, I'm that funny uncle now. It's amazing how fast time goes! !"

Fans of boxing were quick to react to the heartwarming clip with one comment: "Family first."

Another person said, "That's amazing! Family is everything!" Keep humble, champ.

Another said, "That uncle who drops PS20 to your birthday and tells you not to tell Mum." '"

One thought of a clever pun that was based on Joshua's full-name, "Funcle Fem."

Joshua, the Olympic gold medallist, was defeated by Usyk by a narrow margin in their Tottenham tussle last October.

AJ considered leaving his rematch against the Ukrainian in order to make way for a big undisputed fight with Tyson Fury, but he declined the PS15million offer.

Joshua will be coached by a new coach for the rematch with Usyk, which could prove to be a decisive one. He has since left Rob McCracken, his long-time trainer.

Eddie Hearn, the promoter of Watford's new leader, insists that the identity will soon be made public.

DAZN was recently informed by him that AJ would do it himself when camp begins. There's been training both in the US and in the UK.

"He's, now he has a clear idea of what his team will look for the training camp.
