Don Charles, Derek Chisora’s former trainer, believes that AJ is 'capable’ of winning the rematch.

Don Charles, a renowned coach, believes that the former champion of the unified heavyweight division could regain his title after he made the decision to have another set of eyes monitor his progress.

Boxing Social was told by Joshua: "If that child never boxes again or loses again, yeah. What he has achieved and how he turned his family's life around and the impact he had on boxing and all the children boxing in my gym, all of the children boxing nationally, worldwide, it's all thanks to Anthony Joshua. It's his legacy.

"I wish he wins. He's capable of reversing that loss, I believe.

Joshua's loyalty to McCracken has been in doubt, but Charles believes that he is entitled to seek out different guidance after his devastating loss.

He stated, "In life you evaluate things. You look at them and analyze. You do what you think is best for you.

He can choose to change his team or not. He can decide to continue to work on his team or move on if he feels that he must.

"He is looking at a few coaches, and he has every right to do that."

Charles believes that Joshua's accomplishments with McCracken will be remembered long after the professional relationship has ended.

He stated, "What Robert and him have accomplished, it's impossible."

"If you could turn around and tell him that he won the Olympic Gold, you would be the most well-known boxer in the world in ten years.

"You can make X amount of money, but there are some conditions. These conditions are: Andy Ruiz will lose you.

"You will regain the title but you'll lose to Andy Ruiz. Then you'll also lose to Oleksandr Usyk.

"Are you willing take that or will you say no, because I don’t want these losses?" This is life.

Joshua and Usyk, 34 and 32 respectively, were originally scheduled to renew their rivalry during March, but now they are set to face off again in April.

And AJ is determined to erase the painful September night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Sky Sports quoted him as saying: "I have high standards for myself."

"That's why when I lost the first time, I didn't make excuses. I had my reasons.

"I accepted my loss, but I knew that I would get it back. That one I just ignored. This one was hard because I was 100%.

"There weren't any problems. Everything was great. It was all cool. I went in and lost to the better man that night.

It gave me the motivation to get out of this position. It was mentally devastating for me. I have fought back and will be able to redeem myself.
